Girls Softball Showcase Program News

The Girls Sunday Showcase Softball Program will be a more competitive, tournament atmosphere in addition to the Rec League. Showcase will not conflict with Rec League practices or games.

• Evaluations: Saturday, February 18, at Zionsville West Middle School
• 3-4pm for 8-10 year olds
• 4-5pm for 11-12 year olds
• The evaluations will be organized like a practice, so please have your daughter at the gym and ready to begin at the proper time slot.
• The goal is to have one team of 9-10 year olds and one team of 11-12 year olds. If there are enough girls at a competitive level, and enough volunteers to coach, additional teams will be considered.
• 8 year olds are welcome to try out for the 9-10 team.
• One Showcase practice per week. Games will be doubleheaders with other area Showcase teams and/or weekend tournaments within a reasonable distance.
• Price is $125 (in addition to the Rec fee) for uniforms, equipment, umpires, and tournament fees. If your daughter is selected to a team, the manager will collect the $125 checks at the first practice.
• Selection to a Showcase team is no guarantee of making the year-end Rec All Stars.
