2002 ZLL Vintage Baseball Game
As part of the Zionsville Fall Festival/ZLL 50th Anniversary celebration on Sunday, 8 September 2002, Zionsville Litte Leaguers and parents played a game against team members from the Conner Prairie Vintage Baseball Team.
Fans (called "cranks" back then) cheered on the players with calls of "well played" and "well struck." A "crank" from Conner Prairie circulated through the crowd educating them about the rules, proper decorum, and amusing anecdotes about baseball the way it was originally played.
