AWANA is our growing and exciting ministry to kids 3 years old to 6th grade. AWANA is an acronym that stands for Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed as taken from 2 Timothy 2:15. The program is all about introducing young children to Jesus Christ and then training them according to the Bible on how to be approved workmen who are not ashamed to serve Jesus Christ in this life.
Each child is called a Clubber and there is different clubs depending on the grade levels:
Cubbies - for preschool age children
Sparks - for children in grades K-2
Truth and Training (T&T)- for grades 3-6
Each Clubber has a uniform and a handbook receives weekly awards for their uniforms based their work in their handbooks, which teaches kids bible verses and what they mean as well as how to incorporate those verses into their lives.
AWANA meets every Wednesday night from 6:30-8p.m. Come join us with over 50 other exciting and fun kids and great adult leaders for wild games like Shipwreck and the Dragon Game as well as learning more about Jesus Christ and making tons of new friends!
