Boys soccer practice packs are in.  Please stop by the athletic office today and pick them up.

Mr. Sollman's and Mrs. Thaman's Interdis classes will meet in Room 408 during 6th period today with your history books.

Our boys rugby team are now State Champions, having gone the entire season undefeated at 17-0.  Only 6 teams even scored on us and that was just once each....including just one team to score on us and that was just once each...including just one team to score on us during the State Championship playoffs!  We beat Penn yesterday 31-5 then finished off Columbus 24-0 in the Championship game.  John Harmon, Kevin O'Brien and Andrew Krummen were selected to All-State while Krummen was named State MVP.  The players are wearing their tournament jerseys today.  Give them your congratulations when you see them.

The Eagles will be playing for the sectional championship tonight at 7 pm at Noblesville.  They knocked off Fishers 2-1 to get to the finals behind flawless defense, key hits by Nick Barrientos and Luke Kennedy, stellar pitching by Clay Wallace and a great 7th inning relief job by Alex Westrick.  Go get 'em, Eagles!

All students taking AP US History or AP Interdis next year are to attend a meeting after school at 2:50 today in room 412.  Mr. Rodgers and Mrs. Clark will explain the summer projects and hand out the materials for, again, BOTH AP US History and AP Interdis classes.

Reminder:  Snacks and cold drinks will again be sold during the Final Exam breaks tomorrow and Thursday.  Everything is 50 cents, so bring your change!

Fuzzy Dice, make your own root beer and FREE CONCERT TICKETS!  Those are just a few of the fun things at the public library for this year's Summer Reading Program. Roaring Through a Good Book is a 1920's theme with activities like an after-hours murder mystery party and what may soon be known as Zionsville's largest super water soaker competition.  Summer Reading starts June 3rd.  Did we mention they have free concert tickets?

Key Club members can come to Mrs. Busick's room today, tomorrow, or Thursday, room 308, for your membership cards if you paid dues this year .  Thanks for all of your hard work this year!

Football players must register for camp before picking up equipment.  See Coach Mac if you have a question.

Attention Art students who signed up for the Zionsville Gallery Walk Event scheduled for Friday, June 25.  There will be a planning meeting after school today in Mrs. Klaunig's room 52.  Bring your ideas to share with the group!

Mrs. Klaunig and her Drawing II students would like to invite all students, faculty and staff to stop by Art Room 52 to view our "Expressive Self-Portraits" on display through today, periods 2-6.  We have quite a broad "collection of characters" in a variety of media hanging on our 4 walls!

Any student taking AP Psychology next year needs to stop by room 416 to pick up your summer assignment.

Seniors ONLY may withdraw the balance of their lunch accounts today.  Balances under $10.00 will be refunded in cash.  Amounts over ten dollars will be issued by check.  In order to receive ANY remaining funds (cash or check) or to transfer the balance to a sibling's account, you must contact the Head Cashier.  No money is disbursed automatically.  Withdrawals will be made during the lunch hour ONLY.

Seniors:  Please remember to fill out the final transcript request form in guidance.  We need a business size envelope with one stamp, addressed to the college you will be attending in the fall...OR you may go to Docufide and request the final transcript on-line.

Students interested in volunteering two hours a week at the Hussey-Mayfield Library this summer should stop by the teen desk at the library to sign up by June 1.  Also, the library is sponsoring a Teen Summer Reading contest from June 3- July 31 -there swill be lots of great prizes, including two grand prizes of an air hockey table and a set of tickets for Verizon.  Sign up at the library.

Zionsville High school and CIESC are offering Driver's Ed through a unique combination of online coursework and real time driving experiences.  Information is available at the website Ciesc.k12.in.us.  

Do you have an old backpack you are no longer using? Key Club is going to be collecting new or used backpacks through the end of the school year.  The backpacks will be taken to a resale store that gives out clothing, backpacks and other goods to homeless people in inner-city Indianapolis.  Bring your backpacks to Mrs. Busick's room 308 and put them in the collection box.  If you need service points for your club, you can sign the sheet on the box and your points will be reported to your club sponsor.

Are you interested in photography and photojournalism?  Then join the yearbook staff!  The yearbook is an elective course offered to all students and is produced by student staff members.  The class is titled Student Publications and is offered through the journalism program. The yearbook staff is responsible for shooting photographs of all major school events throughout the school year.  If you are interested in any area of photography, and want to gain more experience and have a great time, sign up for Student Publications today!
