YOUTH EXHIBITORS
All rules listed for the senior open show apply to youth exhibitors. Youth may enter birds in any of three categories:
1) You may enter birds in the youth open show and compete only with other youth. These birds can not be entered in the senior open show.
2) You may enter birds in the senior open show and compete against some of the top breeders in the country. These birds cannot be entered in the youth show.
3) Youth may enter the showmanship competition and compete with others in your own age group. It is not required to bring an extra bird for showmanship but it is strongly advised to do so. The youth show judging will not stop if your bird is being used for showmanship at the time it could be judged in either of the other shows. For any youth not exhibiting birds in either the youth show or the open senior show and competing only in showmanship, there is a $5.00 fee. |
Youth & 4-H Families
