Next Meeting.......July 19th  Meeting at Zion Nature Center, 690 Beech St., Zionsville, IN. (from Oak St., turn North on Sixth St.....across from the Library)  - Hospitality by K. Merrell and C. Yater) 


Plants for the 4-H Master Gardeners' booth

 1. Pot up your plants ahead of time so they look attractive for the buyers. 2. Use clean black or green pots with newspaper in the bottom to retain moisture. 3. Locate pictures of your plants from the internet, photo, or catalog, etc. 4. Please bring the pictures and the following information to the July 19th meeting. (Contact Karen via email or phone if you cannot attend.) Plant name- Latin and common, if possible Height and width Blooming time Color Growth habits Light requirements- sun (at least 6hrs.), part sun, shade Other 5. Wooden sticks for labeling will be available at the meeting as well as at the fair booth This year we are making a plant information notebook with the above information to better educate the public. All proceeds from the plant sale will further our group's community projects Plants can be brought to the fairgrounds during set-up time, 2:30-4:00pm, Friday, July 23rd.
