January 23, 2012 - 9:30 am BCMG Meeting 9am Hospitality Boone County Extension Office ...one week later due to Jan. 16 being Martin Luther King Day.

March 11 - Top Performing Perennials for the Midwest. Sunday Mar. 11, 2:00 p.m.

March  19 -  BCMG Meeting ...also plan on staying to help with Demo Gardens cleanup.

April 14 - BCMG Gardenfest 2012  - 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.  Boone County 4-H Fairgrounds, Lebanon IN (I-65 at Exit 138), Boone County Farm Bureau Community Building.

May 21 - BCMG Meeting 

July 16 - BCMG Meeting - Home of Pat Buedel

August 15 - Indiana State Fair M.G. Booth  (Wednesday) 9 AM - 2 PM

Sept. 10-22 - The Gardens and Culture of Spain.

Sept. 17 - BCMG Meeting


OCT. 4 - 6  Purdue Master Gardener State Conference Hamilton County Master Gardeners and Purdue Extension  

Nov. 12 - BCMG Meeting - Boone County Extension Office. Meeting is 1 week earlier than usual in order to welcome the new M.G. Class with a Pitch-In lunch.

April 17 - 11:00 a.m. - Wildflower Walk in Starkey Park, Zionsville

April 21 - Monroe County Master Gardener Assn. Garden Fair


Oct. 1 - Nov. 14, 2012 - (9 a.m.- noon) Mondays and Wednesdays - Fall Master Gardening Classes - Boone County Ext. Office - Cost $95 


June 7 - 18, 2012  Renaissance Gardens of Italy International Study Abroad. Contact Rosie Lerner at 765-494-1311    We’ll visit and study such notable gardens and sites as Villas Medici Castello and Fiesole, Garzoni, Gamberaia, Lante, D’Este, Gregoriana, Boboli Gardens at the Pitti Palace, Sacro Bosco, Ninfa, the Vatican, and a commercial organic farm to learn about production of olives and grapes for wine and oil. Free time in Florence, Rome, Montepulciano, and Vatican City will round out our experiences.
