• Coping With Grief & Loss - 7:00 pm in the Witham Memorial Hospital Cafeteria. Grief is a powerful emotion that all of us will experience at least once in our lives. How we grieve can be as individual as we are, and it's difficult to predict how any one person will handle a terrible loss whether is be a death, loss of a job or an illness. Guest Speaker: Rev. Michale Landon, Hospice Chaplain and Bereavement Coordinator.
• Diabetes Education Class - from 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm. This Diabetic Education series is designed for newly diagnosed diabetic patients or those patients who want to learn more about diabetes. Different topics will be covered at each class including, what is diabetes, diabetic diets, medications, diabetes and exercise, blood sugar monitoring and long-term diabetic complications. Katy Bowman, R.N., Witham Health Services Certified Diabetic Instructor, will conduct the four-week class series. • Five Week Birth Choices Childbirth Education Class - Witham Memorial Hospital in the Education Classroom from 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm. Birth Choices is a childbirth education class designed to prepare mother and father (or other support person) for the birth of their baby. Our prenatal educator will cover various topics ranging from breathing techniques to delivery options. Birth Choices is open to all expectant mothers and is also available to those who would like a "refresher" course of childbirth options. Class fee: $50 per couple (*No charge for those families delivering at the Witham Maternity Center.) After your first trimester, please call 765-485-8112 to register.

• Breastfeeding Made Easy - 9:00 am - 12:00 noon in the Witham Memorial Hospital Education Conference Room. Breastfeeding is normal and natural, but it's learned as well as instinctive. Help is often needed to make mothers feel comfortable and relaxed so that they can comfortably breastfeed their baby. This class is available for expectant and new mothers who would like to learn more about breastfeeding from a certified lactation consultant. The program fee is $25. You will meet Peter, Mary, Barabbas, Marcus - the Centurion, and Camilla - the wife of Pilate as they retell their own personal accounts of the events surrounding the ministry, crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus. Experience their thoughts and feeling, and witness the power of God's love as it radically changes each of their lives. Friday at 7pm and Sunday at 10:45am.
