* Friday, May 18, 2012 - Zionsville Market Eve is a Friday night celebration featuring delicious food items from local restaurants served under the tents on Main Street. Tickets are $20 - wine and beer are available. Also appearing this year is Z'Beer Garden, featuring samples of craft beers from popular Indianapolis brewers like Sun King, Fountain Square, Triton and Flat 12. Tickets for Z'Beer Garden are $20 (Must be 21 years old).

* Saturday, May 19, 2012 - Brick Street Market from 10am to 5pm on Main Street Ithe Brick Street) in Zionsville. 175 booths offering a juried selection of arts, crafts, curios, collectibles, apparel, antiques and more. * Sunday, May 20, 2011 - Children of the World Concert at the 9:15 and 10:45am worship services at Lebanon Christian Church (610 W 250 N, Lebanon, IN 46052). As part of its 2011-2012 U.S. tour, World Help and Lebanon Christian Church are proud to present Children of the World International Children' s Choir. The choir is comprised of orphaned and disadvantaged children from several different countries. Their high-energy and inspiring program will feature several songs, in both English and native dialects, as well as stirring personal testimonies. People of all ages will enjoy their program. The choir's purpose is to generate compassion and inspire individuals to get involved by providing clean water to help save lives. * Thursday, June 7, 2012 - Stewards of Children® child sexual abuse prevention training for parents and adults who work with children hosted by Boone County Child Advocacy Center in partnership with Chauci' s Place from 5:30 to 8 pm at Boone County Senior Services (515 Crown Point Drive, Lebanon). The cost is FREE. Stewards of Children is a prevention training program that teaches adults how to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse. The program is designed for parents or adults who work with children. It is the only nationally distributed, evidence based program proven to increase knowledge, improve attitudes, and change child protective behaviors. * Saturday, June 9 and Sunday June 10, 2012 - Boone County Rodeo Bash! at the Boone County 4H Fairgrounds. Proceeds from the event benefit the Arc of Greater Boone County and the Indiana High School Rodeo Association. Come see Katie George and Brayton Dewees of Western Boone High School and Cord and Strand Barricklow of Lebanon High School and other competitors from throughout the state rope and ride to the best of their ability. See roping, pole bending, barrel racing, bull riding and more. Meet "Hoppy" and see his tribute to Hopalong Cassidy. Fun and excitement for the whole family. Performances at 7pm on Saturday and 2pm on Sunday. Come early to get a good seat. Tickets are $5 from Dairy Queen or $6 at the Gate. Kids age 10 and under get in free with paid adult. * Friday, June 15, 2012 - Red, White, and Blues from 6-10 pm in downtown Lebanon on the square. Live jazz and blues music featuring The Wade Baker Collaboration and the Sugar Creek Big Band. Art Exhibits in the Boone County Courthouse, wine-tasting, food vendors will be on site. The 4th Annual Frog Jumping Competition will begin with registration at 6 pm - contest begins at 6:30. No admission, family friendly event. Event hosted by Lebanon Vitalization, Inc. and the Lebanon Community Arts Council of Indiana.

* Saturday, June 16, 2012 - 2nd annual Run With the Buzzards 5-10-15K run/walk at 7 pm starting at the Thorntown Park in Thorntown. Boone County 4-H Clubs, Inc. will again the be beneficiary of our event, using monies raised to promote healthy lifestyles. Run With the Buzzards is sponsored by Boone County EMS and Witham Health Services, in cooperation with Boone County 4-H Clubs, Inc. An added feature this year will be a canned food drive for the Caring Center; a cooperative effort between Boone County EMS and the Thorntown/Sugar Creek Fire Departments. We encourage participants to bring non-perishable items to help those less fortunate. Mark your calendar and plan to attend one of the best family-friendly events in central Indiana.
